Doctor visit

Hello everyone!

Things in our household are going swell. I have continued to feel better and am able to eat adult sized meals.

On Friday, we had a doctor's appointment and got to listen to the strong heartbeat once again. It varied from 150-160 which my doctor said was normal. I asked again if there was any chance for twins and she said there is always a chance but she didn't sound too confident that I should keep my hopes up. We have our next appointment on May 21st and we hope to find out the gender!

Friday night was the first race night of the season. Corey started 4th in his heat and ended 5th which placed him in the B-feature where he started 4th (I think) and finished 2nd. He was much happier after this race than his heat. We didn't change much in between the races but he decided to change out his shock and found it made a world of difference. He then started 18th in the feature and made it all the way to 10th which was a great run! All in all, it was a good night with almost no damage done to the car.

We had planned to race in Ogilvie on Saturday but the rain cancelled those plans. Instead we woke up late and bopped around in town for most the afternoon. We had friends come up from the cities and we went out to supper at Space Aliens with Lindsey & Kyle Schantzen and Jen & James Unger. While we were there Ryan and Rachel Studanski showed up so with 4 couples around the table we found that all 4 of us women were pregnant---tis the season!

Sunday we spent the entire day on the couch-literally! In fact, I didn't change out of my pajamas and both Corey and I agreed it was amazing.

Congrats to my best friend-Sarah (Fischer) Anderson for delivering her baby boy-Tyson Landon- last Monday. After weeks of bed rest and hours of labor Tyson decided to be stubborn and forced Sarah to have a c-section. He was 8lbs 7 ounces and both mom and boy are doing well!
