First Christmas

Christmas went great! The festivities started last Sunday at my dad's house. It was so good to see that side of the family..it has been several years since we were all together. Then, Christmas Eve we had my immediate family Christmas at our house. My sister Jessica and her two boys were there along with my mom and Jim. We opened gifts and had lunch. Then we headed to Kimball for Christmas with my mom's side of the family. She has 7 siblings so it is always a ton of fun seeing our aunts, uncles, cousins, and the cousin's families. Emma is the youngest but she is one of several great grand-children. We stayed there late in to the evening. Then we got up on Christmas day and attended church and headed straight to Hutchinson for Christmas with Corey's family and his mom's side of the family. Emma was so tired from Christmas Eve that she slept most of the day. Sunday was nice because we got to hang low at home. Emma seemed to sleep everytime it was time to open gifts. We opened hers but then also took pictures of her with them, it was kind of like "Week-end at Bernies" if you know what I mean.

Emma is getting bigger. Her 2 month dr appt was on 12/14. She weighed in at 14 lbs 2 ounces which placed her in to the 99th percentile. The doctor made comment, "Well, she isn't starving!" She also said that Emma is really strong, and was doing things she would look for in a 4 month old. Emma is now wearing some 3-6 month clothes but mostly 6 month. What a" little" tyke!

Here is her Christmas day outfit. Of course she fell asleep right as we were about to open gifts.

Here is Christmas Eve. She was asleep but we had to try on her new shades.
